What type of camera do you use?

Like wedding photographers, we use DSLR cameras with full-frame sensors which shoot in HD or 4K. The look of the video footage is sharp and dynamic, even in low-lighting. With interchangeable lenses, these DSLR cameras give wedding cinema an artistic and cinematic edge.

What is your strategy for capturing all of the events on my wedding day?

Our strategy is to shoot as many long clips as possible, and to be aware of what is happening around us while recording. Experience has given our videographers good reflexes for capturing all the spontaneous moments. For Full-Length Films, two videographers are hired for thorough coverage.

What is a lavalier mic?

Some people call them wireless microphones. We pin it to the groom’s collar before the ceremony starts. The tiny microphone records clear audio of the vows.

How long are your wedding films?

Highlight Films are between 6-10 minutes. Full-Length Films are between 30-50 minutes. There are more details about these on the Packages page.

Can I see the bloopers that didn’t make it into my Highlight Film?

Yes, we provide all of the unedited video footage on a USB flash drive for couples who want the ‘deleted scenes.’

Can we pick the music for our Highlight Film?

We encourage couples to choose songs that they enjoy. Songs are picked from www.musicbed.com, www.fyrfly.com, or other sites where Entwined Cinema can buy the licensing.

Can we order a Full-Length Film after the wedding, when we can afford it?

Definitely. Just know that this film will not have the extra camera angle from the second videographer. A second videographer is present only if a Full-Length Film is ordered pre-wedding.

What does it take to book you? When are the payments due?

To reserve your date I (Rachel) require a signed contract and a deposit, which is 50% of the total cost. The remaining balance is due at least 2 weeks before the wedding.

Do you collect sales tax?

In accordance with state law, I collect a 7.5% sales tax. The tax will be listed on your contract and invoice.

Do you travel?

Yes, absolutely. I only require a travel fee which is customized to your destination.
